As part of Tanzania’s growing energy infrastructure, GIS Engineering & Environmental Services was contracted to support the installation of a high-pressure gas piping system at the Kinyerezi Gas Power Plant. This included complete design consultation, environmental risk management, and field supervision of the installation process. The project plays a critical role in the reliable delivery of natural gas to the power plant.

Problem

The expansion of the Kinyerezi power station required a safe and reliable gas transmission system, involving complex high-pressure gas piping across sensitive areas. The key challenges included:
